Clevedon Pier - A Celebration of England's Finest Pier
The book is a collection of fine-art images, essays and anecdotes covering Clevedon Pier and it’s immediate environs. Located on the Severn estuary in North Somerset, Clevedon Pier is the last remaining Grade 1 listed Victorian pier in the country.
The pier's elegance and historical importance cannot be overstated. This, together with the combination of constantly changing light and tides, the geology of the adjacent bay and it's importance to many people, have inspired Clive to document and showcase them for posterity.
The book will appeal from both a photographic and historical point of view.

"What a lovely book. It was an honour to be involved even in such a minor way."
Griff Rhys Jones
“I had a stroll on the Pier and cups of tea in the cafe (smashing!), and of course, bought a copy of your book. It is a TRIUMPH! Well done indeed. Congratulations, ‘Clevedon Pier’ is great!"
“Well, the goosebumps on my arms have only just subsided. What a superb achievement your book is - I really am bowled over. It's not just the sheer quality of the photography - which is top-notch, of course - it's also the integrity and dedication that oozes from every page. I can see just what a labour of love this must have been for you, but in my opinion it's been worth every moment. There really isn't a single picture that looks out of place, or doesn't make the grade. Warmest congratulations. You should be exceedingly proud of yourself. Good luck for future sales!”
“I think your book is phenomenal and the effect it had on Jean said it all”
"We were expecting some great photos but hadn't anticipated such a good read! All success fully deserved!"
